Fabrizio Brutti
Fabrizio Brutti is a native of Rome where he studied Architecture at Università La Sapienza. He has consulted for the United Nations Development Program, The European Union and the Italian Mission to El Salvador.
Mr. Brutti has managed projects that included Urban Planning, Urban Development and Housing.
He developed a project to empower poor peasant fishermen in Chalatenango province's reservoir. He designed a sailboat and taught boat building, boat design, boat repair and sailing to various communities. The scope of the project included environmental education and awareness, environmental stewardship, responsible fishing, eco-tourism and entrepreneurship. A later phase of the project included scholarships for young girls to continue with their education by participating in the local sailing program.
Mr. Brutti has a special interest on the plight of displaced indigenous people who now live along the shores of Rio Dulce.
